Masculinity from a new perception.
Most of the
innerwear advertisements showcase a man winning in a fight, walking so boldly
or playing some ball games with other men and dominating in it. But the new
Dixcy Scott inner wear advertisement featuring Salman Khan is definitely a
game changer. After watching the short version in TV, I found Dixcy Scott Innerwear’s YouTube
channel and watched the whole 69 seconds version. It is showing the masculinity in a new way.
Salman Khan
is so apt for this role and the TVC looks like it is made especially for him. In
an arm wrestling match
being conducted for cash prize, he beats the competitors so easily just like in
his movies. During fight with one of the competitor Salman notices that there
is a handicapped child by the opposite guy. Salman was about to beat the opposite
guy by making his back of palm touch the table. By seeing the child, he slowly
releases strength and makes himself lose the match. Only Salman and the
opposite guy knew what has happened and Salman walks with pride making an
expression as if his knee was hurt during the match. It is sure to make his fans
go crazy and it is definitely watch worthy.
